The WLC and WTC series covers a wide range of precision weighing requirements, from compact laboratory measurements to larger loads encountered in production and warehouse environments. The family combines multiple capacity, readability and weighing-pan configurations, allowing the balance to be selected according to the required measuring range and sample size.
Energy-efficient electronics and an internal rechargeable battery enable operation away from a permanent power connection. The balances are therefore suitable for fixed workstations as well as locations where mains access is limited. Their stainless steel weighing pans and backlit LCD displays support routine operation, straightforward cleaning and clear result reading.
The product family includes compact models for small loads as well as higher-capacity balances for larger objects. WTC models cover capacities from 200 g to 3100 g with readability from 0.001 g to 0.1 g. WLC C/2 models provide capacities from 0.6 kg to 6 kg, while the broader WLC range extends from 1 kg to 120 kg with readability from 0.01 g to 2 g.
This range allows the user to select a model according to both the required resolution and the physical size or mass of the weighed material. Selected WLC models offer dual weighing ranges, providing different readability values within a single balance configuration.
The internal rechargeable battery allows the balances to operate without continuous connection to the mains. Together with energy-efficient electronics and the LCD display, this supports weighing at mobile workstations, in warehouses, production areas and other locations where a fixed electrical connection may not be readily available.
The display indicates the battery status, helping the operator monitor the available operating time during mobile use.
The weighing pans are made of stainless steel, providing a corrosion-resistant weighing surface that is suitable for contact with moist objects and easier to clean after routine operation.
The backlit LCD display presents weighing results clearly and remains readable from different viewing angles. Its energy-efficient design also contributes to extended battery-powered operation.
The balances provide functions for common laboratory and production tasks. Parts counting determines the number of items from their total mass and a known single-item mass. The Automatic Correction of Accuracy mechanism can update the average item mass during counting.
Percent weighing compares the measured sample with a reference mass defined as 100%, while totalizing adds successive weighing results. Plus/minus control evaluates the measured mass against predefined minimum and maximum thresholds and presents the result graphically.
Peak hold records the highest temporary indication occurring during a weighing process. Available functions depend on the selected model and configuration.
WTC balances support GLP procedures for documenting completed measurements in short or extended reports. Their ALIBI memory stores up to 100 000 weighing records automatically.
Stored information includes the measurement date and time, weighing result, tare value, logged-in operator and product name. Records can be previewed and printed, while measurements stored in the ALIBI database cannot be manually deleted.
Selected WLC configurations also include ALIBI memory for secure storage of weighing records and a real-time clock that maintains accurate time independently of the external power supply.
Selected WLC configurations provide two RS232 interfaces together with USB-A and USB-B ports. These interfaces enable connection of compatible peripheral equipment such as a printer, computer, USB flash drive or additional display.
Selected balances can also cooperate with the THBR 2.0 system for monitoring ambient conditions.
WLC balances support under-pan weighing with a dedicated hook. This configuration allows the load to be suspended below the balance and is suitable for objects with non-standard shapes or dimensions, as well as materials that generate a magnetic field.
