WLY precision balances combine a weighing platform with the PUE 7 terminal for routine and multifunctional weighing processes. The series covers capacities from 1 to 120 kg and includes different platform sizes for smaller samples, larger products and high-capacity weighing.

The balances support standard mass determination as well as parts counting, formulation, dosing, checkweighing, differential weighing and other structured workflows. Configurable controls, databases and communication interfaces allow integration with laboratory, production and product-control processes.

Key Features and Benefits

Weighing and process functions

The WLY Series supports parts counting, percent weighing, formulation, dosing, checkweighing, totalizing, animal weighing and differential weighing. Statistical functions provide values such as minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation.

Parts counting can use Automatic Correction of Accuracy to update the reference mass of a single item during the counting process. In checkweighing and dosing applications, the measured result is compared with predefined limits or tolerances and displayed graphically.

Configurable touchscreen operation

The PUE 7 terminal features a 5.7-inch resistive colour touchscreen. Users can configure on-screen keys, physical function keys, displayed information and infrared proximity sensors.

The sensors can be assigned to functions such as zeroing, taring or printing, allowing selected operations to be performed without touching the terminal.

Data management and documentation

The integrated ALIBI memory stores up to 100 000 measurements. Records can include the weighing result, tare value, date and time, operator and product name.

Printout templates can be adapted to the documentation process. Product and container labels can be created using RADWAG Label Editor software.

Connectivity and peripheral equipment

The balances provide RS232, USB-A, Ethernet, Wi-Fi®, and digital inputs and outputs. They can cooperate with barcode scanners, receipt or label printers, RFID readers, computers and an additional weighing platform.

The WLY Series can also be connected to the THBR 2.0 system for monitoring ambient conditions.

External adjustment

The balances are adjusted using a suitable external mass standard.

Model selection guide

Choose the WLY 1/D2 or WLY 2/D2 when 0.01 g readability is required.
Select a D2 model for compact weighing applications with capacities from 6 to 20 kg.
Choose an F1 model for larger items requiring a 300 × 300 mm weighing pan.
Select a C2 model for high-capacity weighing up to 60 or 120 kg and a 400 × 500 mm platform.
Where R and K versions are available, select the platform configuration appropriate for the intended installation.
