Cell Cultivation Systems

Pfeiffer provides innovative solutions for cell cultivation in laboratories. Efficient cell cultivation is driven by optimal supply of oxygen and nutrients as well as by removing inhibiting metabolic waste products. These factors limit the maximum cell density obtainable from standard, homogeneous cell culture techniques which are consequently poor at achieving high expression levels of proteins. CELLROLL and CELLSPIN by Pfeiffer are designed to overcome those limitations. Pfeiffer’s modular roller (CELLROLL) and spinner systems (CELLSPIN) are ideal for cell cultivation of anchorage-dependent and anchorage-independent cells.

Pfeiffer’s modular roller (CELLROLL) and spinner systems (CELLSPIN) are ideal for cell cultivation of anchorage-dependent and anchorage-independent cells. It consists of a control unit and rolling and/or spinner devices. The control unit allows programming of velocity, pendular, angle, intervals and breaks and enables storing of 10 different cell cultivation programs. Two roller devices or two spinner devices or one roller and one spinner device can be operated with one control unit. The roller or spinner devices can be installed in standard and CO2 incubators.
