The KEM’s DA-800 series density meters measure density and specific gravity of liquid samples using an oscillating sensor to determine resonant frequency. Additionally, these instruments can calculate sample concentration based on widely accepted industry formulas and tables. 

Measurements can be performed with as little as 1mL of sample (when injected manually) and results can be obtained in as fast as 10 seconds for a temperature-stabilized sample (without viscosity correction). All models in the DA-800 range include viscosity correction functionality as a standard feature. 

To ensure data integrity, the DA-800 series offers support functions for data maintenance and management.

Automatic wash stations for up to 3 solvents are available as well as automation with sample changers.

Liquid concentration control and quality control in the following segments: determination of transaction prices and taxes for crude oil and petroleum products (fuel oil and lubricants), chemical products purity and quality control, production process control and quality inspection for milk products, carbonated drinks, fruit drinks, measuring alcohol and extracts concentration, brix concentration measurement of sugar solutions, pharmaceutical densitometry based on pharmacopoeia, quality control of oils and fats, flavors, chemicals, surface treatment agents.
