WLC X7 precision balances

WLC X7 models extend the weighing range to higher capacities.

X7 Series precision balances are designed for laboratory and industrial workflows requiring reliable mass determination, structured recording of results and flexible data communication. The series includes PS X7 balances for measurements requiring readability down to 1 mg and WLC X7 models with capacities up to 21 kg.

A 7-inch touchscreen provides access to weighing applications, databases and configurable information widgets. Multiple communication interfaces support integration with computers, printers and other external equipment.

Touchscreen operation

The 7-inch capacitive colour touchscreen provides access to weighing functions, stored data and instrument settings. Configurable widgets allow users to select which parameters and process information are displayed on the main screen.

The multilingual interface and user database support operation by different authorised users.

Weighing ranges and adjustment

PS X7 balances cover capacities from 200 g to 10 100 g, with readability of 1 mg or 10 mg depending on the model. WLC X7 balances provide capacities up to 21 kg, with readability from 0.001 g to 1 g.

PS X7 balances feature internal automatic adjustment. WLC X7 models are available with internal or external adjustment, depending on the selected configuration.

Weighing and process functions

The X7 operating system supports functions for routine weighing and controlled laboratory procedures, including:

Infrared sensors can be configured for touch-free activation of selected functions, such as taring, zeroing or sending a result to a printer.

Integrated databases and ALIBI memory

The information system includes databases for products, users, packaging, customers, formulations, reports, ambient conditions and weighing results.

ALIBI memory stores up to 512 000 weighing records. Stored results can be previewed, copied and archived for subsequent documentation or analysis.

Connectivity and data transfer

The balances are equipped with 2× RS232, USB-A, USB-B, Ethernet and Wi-Fi® interfaces. Measurement results, reports and databases can be transferred to a computer or copied between compatible balances.

Ethernet and Wi-Fi® also support remote access to the balance and its stored data. Wireless communication is useful where the instrument is installed inside a laminar flow hood or fume cupboard.

Reporting and additional weighing options

The software supports the generation of short or extended GLP and GMP reports. Measurement records, statistics and reports can be stored, transferred or printed.

PS X7 balances also support under-pan weighing with the dedicated hook. This configuration can be used for non-standard loads or objects that generate a magnetic field.

Model selection guide

For measurements requiring 1 mg readability, select a PS X7 model with a capacity suited to the expected load.
For dual-range weighing from 200 g to 2000 g, consider the PS 200/2000.X7.
For capacities of 2100 g to 10 100 g with 10 mg readability, select a PS X7.M model.
For a capacity of 0.2 kg with 0.001 g readability, select the WLC 0.2.X7.
For weighing loads from 2 kg to 21 kg, select a WLC X7 model according to the required capacity and readability.
For a 10 kg dual-range configuration, select the WLC 1/10.X7.
