MYA 5Y Microbalances are designed for weighing extremely small masses with readability down to 1 µg. The series combines high weighing sensitivity with automatic operation features to support precise laboratory measurements.

The MYA 5Y family includes models for general laboratory weighing as well as dedicated configurations for pipette calibration and filter weighing, allowing laboratories to select a balance that matches their specific workflow.

Microgram-level weighing

The MYA 5Y series offers readability from 1 to 10 µg with maximum capacities from 0.8 to 52 g, depending on the selected model.

Automatic balance preparation

All models feature automatic levelling and an automatically opened weighing chamber, reducing manual intervention before and during weighing.

Dedicated pipette calibration model

The MYA 5Y.P is designed for piston pipette calibration according to ISO 8655. The system supports automatic calibration stations, evaporation traps and software-guided calibration with automatic report generation.

Filter weighing configuration

The MYA 5Y.F is designed specifically for filter weighing. Its dedicated weighing chamber and weighing pan options accommodate filters of different diameters.

Data management

The 5Y platform supports wireless communication, environmental condition monitoring and functionality for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
